Advanced Certificate in Maternal and Child Health (ACMCH)
INTRODUCTION
It's a comprehensive package comprising of Reproductive Health, Child Health and Public Health components of MCH. The Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College & Hospital has taken a pioneer step in designing a curriculum by integrating the above essential components of MCH Care and providing an Advanced Certificate Course in the form of continuing medical education so that the doctors, both in private and government sector, get an opportunity to update their knowledge and skill.
OVERVIEW
ACMCH addresses a number of public health challenges that have a significant impact on the health of women and children, often the most vulnerable when resources are limited in communities and nations. It applies comparative methods of inquiry to understand these issues as they occur and are managed in various developing countries.
ELIGIBILITY
MBBS. A student should have completed compulsory internship before January 1st of the respective academic session
DURATION
Course duration will be of 1 year (2 terms of 6 months)
