Morgan House (Wbtdc), Darjeeling Set at an altitude of about 1, 250 meters, against the magnificent backdrop of the Kanchenjunga peak, the Kalimpong Tourist Lodge alias renowned as Morgan House provides a quiet and relaxed Holiday amidst tranquil surroundings. A must visit worthy place to stay and enjoy the aura of nature. The room and the bathroom were clean enough, but would have benefited from a more thorough daily clean. The stairs were dirty and I overheard more than one guest complaining about it. The carpets need the attention of a carpet shampoo machine check out Amazon India plus daily attention of a vacuum cleaner. Sweeping is not enough.
