JK Paper, one of the leading companies of JK Organisation, has submitted a non-binding offer (NBO) to BILT Graphic Paper Products Ltd. (BGPPL), an Avantha group company, to acquire two units of the latter located at Ballarpur and Ashti in Maharashtra, which manufacture pulp, paper, paper boards and other paper products, the company informed the stock exchanges.
JK Paper has two large integrated paper manufacturing units — JK Paper Mills, Rayagada, Odisha and Central Pulp Mills, Songadh, Gujarat, with a combined capacity of 4.55 lakh tonnes per annum. It is the market leader in branded copier paper segment and among the top two players in coated paper and high-end packaging boards.
