Durga Dass & Party is a devotional musical group which organizes Bhagwati Jagran, Mata ki chowki in Delhi, Sai bhajan Sandhya & all kinds of events. Durga Dass Ji has taken his musical training from Ustaad Abdur Rahman, Guru Ji R.K. Sharma 'Dushyant and Mahant Shree Mohan Lal Dutta of Mandi Gharana.
The word Jagran is derived from a Sanskrit word ‘jaagar ', meaning awake or a state of alertness, refers to this period of nocturnal wakefulness. Many Hindu fasts or ‘vrats' such as that of Satyanarayan and Ekadashi advocate the practice of Jagran party in Delhi , or all night vigil, during which the Almighty is venerated through various acts of worship. ‘Jagran ' or ‘Jagrata' is a common practice in many of the Hindu Families.
