Nature has gifted us with many species of fauna in the animal kingdom. Most of the animals are four legged creatures, some small creatures, while other is huge creatures. Some live on land whereas some fly in the air. Bird is very small creatures and is a part of the fauna species and who instead of walking on land fly in the open sky. Their ability to fly in the sky is due to the presence of wings which has very strong muscles in the shoulder which give them the strength to fly .Also the shape of the bird is in the form of a boat that allows it to easily slide into the air. They often build their nest on trees and reproduce in the form of eggs. A distinguished bird which is found in America and Asia has a chisel like beak and strong paws to hold the prey while eating .It catches its prey by continuously hammering into the trunk of the tree .It makes a hole in the trunk and then catches the prey .The woodpecker is very dull looking bird with a coloured crown which can be in brown to red colour. The woodpecker is the most popular searched bird in the animal kingdom. The bird is known for its strength and the holes they make in the trunks of the trees. It feeds on the insects or snakes or frogs and gives birth twice in a year. The nest is made from the scrapes fallen from the branch during the process of hammering. The bird has easily adapted itself to protect it from continuous hammering as nature has provided it with a small brain which is placed in the interiors of the skull. The woodpeckers are not friendly birds and often seen in isolated places .these birds are often seen caged in the wild life sanctuaries for the whole world to see the ceramic knob displays the sketch of the woodpecker but in white colour with an outline of the bird with minimal detailing of the structure of the bird. The knobs are ideally used to decorate the drawers, cabinets and the wardrobes of the kid’s room.
