Coffee has been assumed to have originates in Ethiopia in South Africa. It then travelled to the various European countries and finally in India in the sixteenth century .In India the coffee beans were first grown in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. Out of the total produce only 20% was consumed in the country and the remaining 80% of the produce was given for exports. The Sufis also consumed coffee to keep them awake during the time of chanting to keep them awake all night. Coffee is considered stronger than tea and therefore it is consumed by the people living in the cold countries. Medical facts have proven that coffee is an efficient memory booster. People sit together to relish their cup of coffee with friends in coffee houses available round the corner. These coffee houses mix different type of coffee beans to produce new flavours .Hot or cold, brewed or cuppa chino everybody has his or her favourite flavour in coffee. There are variation as to the type of coffee available in the market one is the instant coffee which is instant coffee and is hot .The other version is the traditional filter coffee where the roasted and grinded beans are put in a stainless filter on which hot and boiling is poured and the result is dark liquid coffee in the other container. The youngster’s version of coffee is rich cold iced coffee with a dollop of ice cream. The coffee beans are also mixed with cocoa beans to produce dark rich chocolate. The ceramic knob is in a white background with a sketch of a gunny bag that is filled with coffee beans. The gunny bag is yellow colour with an outline in the borders of the bag in dots lot and lots of them. In India coffee is synonym with a red coloured glass mug which has Nescafe written in capital letters in one end of the mug and Bru coffee is identified with a yellow glass mug. The taste of both the coffee brands is different that is the joy of coffee.
