Cherry blossom is the most popular floral form available in Japan or china. It is predominantly the native of the Himalayas It comprises a nearly white flower with a tinge of pink at nearly the base of the flower. The cherry blossom tree grows very thick in size twice its actual size and gives throughout the year .Though the flowers are short lived and survives for a couple of days and then falls off the tree. It is called as the cherry blossom flower due the colour of the flower which is cherry red in colour .It s also the name of a movie where the wife on having discovered that she has a terminal illness does not reveal it to her husband and requests him to visit his son in Japan and finally dies in her sleep after he is gone. The husband unable to accept the news of his wife goes on an endless journey till he finds solace in the hills of the Fijis. The relevance of the movie to the cherry blossom flower that even the poster of the movie has a picture of a full grown cherry blossom tree and a pond in the background .Also the picture ends in mount Fiji located in Japan. Who can forget the wonderful cherry blossom shoe polish advertisement starring The legendry Charlie Chaplin .IT had become a range in the early 70’s and ending 80’s .The relevance of the word cherry in the polish was to the presence of burgundy colour to the black polish.
