A a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, HTC is gearing up to get the Andoid update for One before end of September, confirms Jason MacKenzie, HTC President via Twitter.
Jason Mackenzie posted up a short message on Twitter confirming that the company is working hard to have the update available for those devices at that time.
“Lot's of questions re 4.3 release for One, " tweeted Mackenzie. "We r wrking hard (needs cert) to release 4.3 across all U.S., Canada skus by end Sept. DNA as well."
Android 4.3 starts rolling out for the HTC One in US and Canada before the end of September. We hope the other regions also get this update soon.
Other manufacturers such as Samsung also appear to have plans to update several devices directly from Android 4.1 to Android 4.3. Additionally, Sony has confirmed that among its roster of devices set to update to Android 4.3, some have been running Android 4.1 with no update since their releases.
